President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the ceremony of commissioning the TÜRKSAT 5-A satellite at Ankara Gölbaşı TÜRKSAT General Directorate and delivered a speech.
President Tayyip Erdoğan said that they will soon share with the public a strategy that will support data-based innovation and increase the cyber security of the country.
In his speech at the commissioning ceremony of the Türksat 5A satellite, Erdoğan stated that the country’s defense against cyber threats will also take place. “We will create a cyber defense mechanism,” he said.
Erdoğan described the strategy study as “a study that will support data-based innovation, improve our national technology production capabilities, and enable us to get ahead in artificial intelligence technologies.”
The first image has arrived
While the first images that came with President Erdogan’s putting the Türksat 5A satellite into service by pressing the button were reflected on the camera, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “Türksat 5A; Our satellite will provide television and data communication services in a wide geography spanning 3 continents, covering the Sea and the Black Sea. It will also contribute significantly to a more effective presence around the world.”
