Bloomberg HT Research Unit’s inflation survey showed that the market expectation for June is close to 17 percent.
The median forecast in the survey, in which 21 institutions participated, is that the consumer price index will increase by 1.4 percent monthly and 16.9 percent annually in June.
The institution that shared the lowest expectation was 1.03 percent monthly inflation in June; projected an annual rate of 16.47 percent. The institution that shares the highest expectation is that consumer prices will increase by 2 percent on a monthly basis in June; It expects it to be 17.5% on an annual basis.
During this survey period, the median expectation of 19 respondents for the end of 2021 was 15 percent. The highest forecast for the end of the year was 15.50 percent, and the lowest forecast was 13.30 percent.
In the May survey period, the median expectation of 17 participants for the end of 2021 was 14.50 percent. The highest estimate was 15.50 percent, and the lowest estimate was 11.70 percent.
