The debt stock of state economic enterprises (SOEs) and institutions in the privatization program at current prices was 132 billion 543 million liras as of the first quarter of the year.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the stock debts of SOEs and organizations in the privatization program at current prices as of the first quarter of 2021.
Accordingly, the total domestic debt of the institutions was 106 billion 773 million 271 thousand liras, and their external debts were 25 billion 770 million 264 thousand liras. Thus, the total debt stock amounted to 132 billion 543 million 535 thousand liras.
The highest item among domestic debts was the commercial bank debts with 39 billion 86 million 674 thousand liras, followed by the debts of real/legal persons with 26.5 billion liras and official offices with 23 billion liras.
Duty losses of SOEs
Duty losses arising from the activities of SEEs and related institutions were recorded as 1 billion 365 million TL as of the first quarter of the year.
In the said period, the institution with the highest duty loss was the Turkish Coal Enterprises Institution with 697 million liras, followed by the Turkish Grain Board with 447 million liras.
